What I Made for Dinner :: Sukiyaki



Ingredients:
Sliced beef
Firm tofu
Nappa cabbage
Green onions
Enoki and Shimeji mushrooms
Shirataki noodles
Vegetable oil (or chunks of beef fat if you can find it; it's often sold at Japanese markets near the sliced beef)

Other possible ingredients:
Shiitake mushrooms
Onions
Japanese leeks

Broth ingredients:
100 ml each of soy sauce, mirin, water
2 tbsp sugar

Dipping sauce (optional depending on your comfort level):
Really good, fresh organic eggs (because you'll be consuming them raw)
